Symbols like the meander, also known as the greek key, the greek column, and Ariadne’s dress. Ariadne was a Cretan princess in greek mythology. She is best known for having helped Theseus by providing him a sword and ball of thread so that he could trace his way out of the labyrinth of the Minotaur.
